Asset Recovery using Writ of Delivery

A Writ of Delivery is issued by the High Court and gives us the power to take control of specific goods (or the equivalent cash value) and return them to the Claimant.

Sometimes, the Court will not provide the option for money to be recovered in place of the goods. This is called a Writ of Specific Delivery.

We can enforce a Writ of Delivery to take back or collect:

• Goods that have been hired, leased or bought on finance where the customer has defaulted on payments
• Legal documents or records
• Personal possessions not returned after a divorce settlement
