Wilson & Roe’s HR Coordinator, Lauren O’Neill, is getting closer to achieving her dream career by passing her CIPD Level 3 Diploma with flying colours.
Lauren, who has worked for Wilson & Roe for just over a year, decided to take on this qualification whilst working full time as a key worker during the national lockdown. “It was quite challenging,” explains Lauren. “I had to learn in my own time, which was hard because you have to be really motivated when you’ve worked all day”.
The CIPD Level 3 Diploma covers a range of topics including managing employee relations, performance and reward management and learning and development.
Lauren’s current role sees her supporting the senior management team with HR tasks and she is looking forward to expanding her knowledge.
Lauren says, “I’ve always wanted a career in HR and now that I’ve completed my diploma, I’m ready to start experiencing the role of HR in more depth.”
Lauren’s impressive results and her enthusiasm for learning prove she definitely has what it takes to succeed. Wilson & Roe’s Managing Director, Sarah Roscoe, says:
“It’s great to see the younger generation coming through and fulfilling their dreams. At Wilson & Roe we support and encourage personal development, and we’re all looking forward to seeing Lauren progress in her career.”
