Sarah Flaherty Takes Over as Chair of the CICM’s Merseyside and North Wales Branch

We are proud to share that our very own Sarah Flaherty has been appointed as Chair of the Merseyside and North Wales branch of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).

Sarah joined Wilson & Roe back in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience from previous roles at Payzone and in arrears collection for Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council. She does a fantastic job as our Head of Credit Control and Banking, and we are sure she will be just as successful in her role with the CICM.

The CICM is the professional body for the credit management industry with a network of branches throughout the UK and Ireland. The Merseyside and North Wales branch covers a particularly wide area, but we’re sure Sarah is up for the challenge.

“I am extremely pleased to have taken over the role as Chair. I have a rather large pair of shoes to fill but it is a challenge I will relish. For me, it’s all about going back to basics; knowing your customer and getting everything right first time, every time,” Sarah explains.
