Wilson & Roe’s Property Conference

On April 9, we held our first Wilson & Roe Property Conference at the Edwardian Manchester, and we are delighted to share that the event was a great success.

With the property sector due to undergo significant changes in 2025, this conference gave property litigators and legal professionals the opportunity to explore the impact of this changing landscape as well as the role of High Court Enforcement in this field.

Kings Chambers barristers, Matthew Hall and Harry Dyson, gave us food for thought with informative presentations exploring the likely challenges associated with forfeiture as well as the upcoming renters reform act.

We also looked at another mounting challenge for the property sector, the Freeman-on-the-Land movement. Our Managing Director, Solicitor and High Court Enforcement Officer, Eric Roe, joined forces with Charlie Spokes of Orbis Protect for a presentation on the growing presence and disruptive actions of this group.

To finish off the event, Chris Miller, our Property Services Operations Manager, and Senior Enforcement Agent Jon Farley also gave a unique insight and perspective on property enforcement.
